Since 16 April 2008, members of the University of Vienna can use their u:account to archive scientific materials and research data from all disciplines in all formats (text, image, sound, video,...) in PHAIDRA for the long term and also make them accessible on the WWW.

2023	April 16: 15 years of PHAIDRA online at the University of Vienna! New interface with new functionalities for the PHAIDRA repository at the University of Vienna goes online February 1. three new institutions become phaidra partners: Carinthia University of Applied Sciences, Gustav Mahler Private University for Music and University College of Christian Churches of Teacher Education Vienna/Krems PHAIDRA is partner of the project Shared RDM (end of project 2026) 4th PHAIDRAcon on site for the first time, in the Sky Lounge of University of Vienna
2022	Academy of Fine Arts Vienna becomes PHAIDRA partner

2017	PHAIDRA becomes partner of the project e-Infrastructures Austria Plus, the successor project of e-Infrastructures Austria Start with regular trainings and workshops on long-term archiving, data management and data management plans at the University of Vienna Founding of the "Code4research" group at the University of Vienna on issues of sustainable software archiving University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna, University of Continuing Education Krems - Danube University Krems and the Anton Bruckner Private University Linz become PHAIDRA partners
